1000 rounds of .17 HMR and 1100 rounds of 22LR last weeek end at BPS. Must of hit the lotto...

as to how much is enough? IMHO as much as you can store..... If I get below 1000 rounds of 22, .17, .223, .308 I get "twitchy".

I just got hold of a reasonable priced brick of CCI Target .22LR through my local gun club.

My answer is the same...but that doesn't count the .50 cal ammo can I have that is half full. It's just bulk that I emptied out of the boxes, but it was all the same brand & weight.

That is the way we have to look at life ....... is the ammo can half full, or is it half empty ........

This whole thing reminds me of I Tshirt I saw a guy wearing, it said "Ammunition the currency of the new millenium." Like a fool I laughed at it, evidently I should have paid attention.

My ammo can is more than half empty!
But I think I will rectify that as soon as things settle down.

Local Big 5 got in a shipment of .22LR Asking price was $10 per FIFTY. I can definitely reload any of my center fires for that price.

My dad was telling me the other day that he could walk downtown(late '40's early '50's) with his .22 on his shoulder, walk into the hardware store and get a 100 rds for less than fifty cents. The bastard should have bought me some! LOL

I remember when we left our rifles & shotguns in the racks here in South Florida. Loaded.
