1000 rounds of .17 HMR and 1100 rounds of 22LR last weeek end at BPS. Must of hit the lotto...
as to how much is enough? IMHO as much as you can store..... If I get below 1000 rounds of 22, .17, .223, .308 I get "twitchy"."We sleep soundly in our beds because rough men stand ready in the night to visit violence on those who would do us harm."

I just got hold of a reasonable priced brick of CCI Target .22LR through my local gun club.

Had a guy at work ask me if I had any .22 ammo... My answer... No

This whole thing reminds me of I Tshirt I saw a guy wearing, it said "Ammunition the currency of the new millenium." Like a fool I laughed at it, evidently I should have paid attention.
My ammo can is more than half empty!
But I think I will rectify that as soon as things settle down.Last edited by nun2sharp; 02-27-2013 at 05:23 PM.

My dad was telling me the other day that he could walk downtown(late '40's early '50's) with his .22 on his shoulder, walk into the hardware store and get a 100 rds for less than fifty cents. The bastard should have bought me some! LOL

I remember when we left our rifles & shotguns in the racks here in South Florida. Loaded.
