I read just the other day that close to 1 Billion rounds are being made every day by the mfg's as a whole & the order of distribution is Uncle Sam's boys, LEO, then us. I haven't been able to find .22lr in over a month. Got lucky when a delivery was made at walmart and did pick up some bulk target winchesters for 9mm & 45acp. I made a phone call or two & wiped them out less one box of 9mm.

And why did you capitalize can?

A question to throw out... How much is enough? 1000, 2000, 5000, 10,000 rounds?
you can never have enough ..especially if it comes down to not being able to get anymore !!! ..lol

I just happened to think of this thread yesterday, I had to pick up some Shotgun shells to shoot trap, and also looked at the rest of the Ammo Isle wow you ain't kidding the shelves are bare, there are signs up with a 5 Box limit in many calibers..

The shotgun shelves were full and the prices were the norm for Target loads however

BTW 4 rounds of Trap 21-23-24-22

Takes a ton of boiling and a bit of BBQ sauce to get them tasting JUST right

According to some of my friends, you have to go to the gun show to get ammo, but be prepared to do as Jim Carrey said in "Liar, Liar", "Bend over and take like a man!".

Went back to the local Wal Mart... Still nothing... A few boxes of .22 shorts... I have plenty of those and I live in the country... No need for noise control
