As Nun2Sharp said, I remeber buying a brick of Remington .22's was $10.00 and buy a a 50 box for .99...
I was looking through some of my non .22 LR stock and I have some that is price gun marked "9-73" And I gusess you could still buy them for $6.00 for 500 and .90 for 50.... I guess they wanted you to buy 500

I have been going into Academy for decades. I buy lots of clothing and bbq stuff there. Every time I went, it was 2 boxes.
Built up a pretty big pile after a while. NOW, I am afraid to shoot any, lest there be no more.
A shame. "Dialing in" is the main reason I have them!"Don't be stubborn. You are missing out."
