Reached out to Tracy Tools in the UK about the die. Explained it snapped and didn’t really expect much beyond ‘ over a year since I orders sorry mate’ but nope. They are dispatching another brand today. Free of charge. Good folks there.
Hence why I shared the name. Good source for tooling for those across the pond!

The man who gave me a start in the grocery business started for a chain called Safeway when he was 15 working after school in 1934. He became a meat cutter, then a meat manager then a store manager.

He opened his own grocery store in 1949. He taught me that you needed three things to have a successful business.

    Quality Product

    Reasonable Prices

    Excellent Customer Service.

I don't know about the first two but it sounds like Tracy Tools definitely has the third one nailed.

Nice moment tonight when I finished stripping an prepping the spare tire carrier tonight. I realized that that was the first piece I took off the car last fall and is the last piece I had to strip before getting ready to prime.
So, going to spend the rest of the week cleaning and organizing the shop some. Get all the old car leftovers boxed up and stacked. Get all the remaining new items sorted etc. sweep snd wash down the floors and maybe, weather permitting I’ll be getting ready to lay down some epoxy primer this weekend and get to the last stages of this rebuild.

Did a little last minute shopping on lbcarco to the tune of around 500$.
Bunch of little items mostly, but they do add up quickly.
Chrome and seat slider assemblies new hi/low horns, some gaskets and yes, racing windscreens!

No I don’t really need these, but,, to my thinking the car will be ready to drive before interiors done, or new top goes on, or even existing cracked windshield will be replaced.
So, in a bit of a hurry now to get to mobile status again. Get the paint done, the wiring done get it running put these on and get driving again.
Next winter deal with the windshield and new top etc..
Plus the car will go faster with less windshield drag in the short term. And these just look retro cool to me!

I trust that the racing windshield goes clear across to the passenger side. I'd hate to think of your lovely bride having to wear googles during a ride.

Not all the way across no, but they do come as a matched set so Ruthy’s hair should be somewhat protected.

He did say 'these'. Still, some bugs in the teeth will occur if you smile!

    Goggles!

Yup, think some goggles and a hat for the bride, me. Only if they come in prescription lenses, hehe.
And I think I’ll be smiling every time I drive.

Those things look cool on almost any Brit that the windshield comes off, IMO
