Was stripping the clutch and brake assy, which was taken from the donor tr3 as the Mg had pedals that came up from below originally, off my old firewall

When I spotted under a ton of old green paint couple of items I thought long gone.

Wish I read the fine print before I removed them. Could have saved a ton of time and money claiming warranty! Hehe.

Love the old telegram and phone info on the placard. So nostalgic.
This was how the old firewall was cut up to accommodate, I may try something else.

When I decided to get rid of the landline and only have a cell just for shites and gigglesI also bought an old wall mount dial phone to cover the old plate.

Walla Walla used to Jackson abbreviated to (J A) then either a 5 or a 9 and then the last four digits of the number. You can still go into some of the older stores and they'll have the old ads on displaywith the J A.

Anyway here's my phone. That's how the had the letters and number placed back in the day. I blocked out some of the numbers as a security measure but would be read 525-0:2:

There was a weekly talent show out of Spokane it was sponsored by The Boyle Fuel Company here a clip with the history of the show, but feel free to jump in to 2:15 to hear the jingle. It was sung by a pair of twins, in fact they grew up on the show, anyway it has the full phone number. 'Fairfax Eight One Five Two One'

Hee Haw was a regular visitor to our TV set. Funny stuff, but still clean. I loved the barber shop scenes with Archie. I wish this wasn't videoed off of the TV but it'll have to do. Oral Robert in the barber chair.

Ok, I'm done being off topic

Think I’m gonna leave these plates as they are, nice patina on them.
Tomorrow, maybe, lay some epoxy primer down. Think I’m almost stalling in my mind to start.
Needs to lay out all the panels such that I can move from panel to panel, without causing overspray or affecting the ones already primed. Get it right at this step, so when I start with color I have a process in place.
New paints cure a hell of a lot quicker than I remember.

Really, when I see her like this, very little actual steel to be primed here. Most of her ‘size’ comes from her add on’s.

Hung up everything I could inside the tent to contain my project from the elements. All clean and degreased!
Hopefully with air coming in from the left at the top, and exiting out the right at the bottom I’ll have effective cross draft happening.

Only the fenders and hood halves will be painted in the garage proper on that covered table I built for the frame. It’s come in handy throughout the build.
