Well in real life, none of my friends would do what I do in my garage so that won’t work…
Plan b is time the work around rain to knock down the pollen, and bugs.

Now to let it cure and see if I came close enough on my pearl count.
Seeing as how my original mix was like 3 grams of pearl to 700 ml of clear I had to sort of guess at the amount for 150ml of clear.
Last accurate scale I had that could measure less than a gram was traded for a lava lamp years ago. Still have the lamp though so that’s cool..hehe.
So here with one of the original painted panels beside. It feels like I may have more pearl in the new paint, but hopefully it’ll blend after hitting it back through the grits with the compound steps.

Somethings wrong Mike! Your paint has all those little white blemishes in it. Looks like you'll have to sand everything back down and start over!

Sure it's not exactly the same. But I think it's close enough. Nice work getting that close Mike. And I no longer have one of those scales anymore either. I think I traded it for a bag of .........

Hell ya, no turning back. Even if I end up disappointed with the final paint effects, I can always have her Repainted by a pro later, over the winter.
I’m aching to test out all the new upgrades on the asphalt.
