I'm a clear alcohol drinker, I love Gin and Vodka.
As for beer...
This is one of the greatest things about living in Northern California (and about 30 miles from the brewery)

I was drinking Capt Morgans and Diet Coke for the longest time.
Recently aquired a second girlfriend who got me into Grey Goose with Club soda and a Lime with ice. I am going to drink this forever.

When I did drink alcohol back in my Navy days my drink was a nice ice cold dry vodka. I'd fill the bottom of my glass with about an inch of water then freeze it. I'd put my vodka in the freezer about and hour or so before drinking time. When I poured my vodka it remained cold for a long time without watering it down.

Thanked: 278I don't drink G&T too often but I do love it. Last I tried was Bombay Sapphire, it was the most delicious thing I'd ever tasted, don't know if that was because I hadn't had a G&T in a while.
Apart from that it's the usual...

Southern Comfort and Coke, twist of lime.
That goes in between shots of Southern Comfort, topped with a touch of sweetened lime juice. (at least when I'm really drinking)
Ah...Wednesday nights... College girls and $2 you-call-its... and a bar I can smoke and drink in at the same time in California.....
Speaking of which....it's almost time to go!

If I'm drinking beer, it's dark beer; stouts and porters. As far as liquor goes, I've been on a Scotch kick recently; I like Highland single malts with a half measure of water. The other night I was actually having Guinness and Glenmorangie (10 or 12, I don't remember); they went alright together, seeing as how Guinness is so bland. My current bottle at home is Old Pulteney 10 year.

As for me I like Palinka (Hungarian National Drink something like Firewater, or Schnaps). My Grandfater makes his own (from fruits grown by himself) it's got about 50-54 percent of alcohol.
Besides I like good Hungarian Wines, or Port wine.
On a warm summer afternoon i drink some wine with seltzer water. (about 0,2 liter of wine and 0,3 liter of s.water). It's nice cold and refreshing.![]()
