beer
since no one yet has mentioned a good Canadian beer one can not talk about beer and not mention " http://www.fortgarry.com/" they are a small brewery in manitoba and there beer is so good, especilly there dark ale. And let me make one more point about beer, any and all beer should be drank out of a glass they taste so much better. if anyone will be trying fort garry dark ale please do you self a favor and not drink it ice cold. the flavor is so much better when cool but not warm or ice cold.

Beer is my life
JimmyHAD...I thank you for posting a thread relating to the discussion of your favorite beers. Last night, I took Mrs. Hog to the Village Tavern and drank a few pints of our favorites. The casualty list was: Black and Tan (half guiness stout and half Bass Ale) Stella Artois, and Blue Moon. Does anybody prefer layered beer just like Black and Tan? There are a few interesting variations like: A bumblebee = Guiness Stout and Bodington Cream Ale... A Brave Liver = Guiness Stout and Cider..and some others that at the moment I can't remember...but I will report back. HOG

Anything with malt presence. Not a hop head. I've loved all the beers I've tried of Belgium origin (especially the Lambics). A bunch of the English ales. As well as German styles. I do a bit of brewing and am lucky enough to live in Portland,Or (the microbrew capital of the U.S.) so it's not an issue to go out and find some really good beer(s). Also we have some excellent import beer stores locally so it's easy to find something new without trying

Thanked: 20When I'm here in the north I stick to any of the Big Rock offerings, or maybe an import (guiness, stella, hein, or other). But while in Oz I was quite pleased with the beer selections. Crown would have to be my fave, but VB, Carlton, and tooheys were good too. and I love the aussie version of light beer, just means that skinny little guys like me can enjoy a few more!
