My early morning rotation for this day, from 8AM until 11:30, a pair of Comoy Blue Ribands, and a Comoy Specimen Straight Grain pot. Robusto in the first two, and Dunhill Early Morning Pipe in the pot. These pipes are all a bit over 5" long, with 1&1/2" bowls. I start small in the morning.

Was getting tired of aromatics and needed a change. Had no pilots mix so,I cracked open a tin of MacB Virginia No.1 I had cellared. It was dated Nov 2012. Does not have the tongue bite I remember of a fresh tin. Just sweet and mellow. Happy ! Loaded up the Comoy and looking at shoes and clothes. Oh and technically I guess this is actually considered an aromatic but it doesn't really taste or act like one....go figure.

HU Tobacco is a relatively new German dare I say Micro blender? I have heard some good things about this small operation. How do you find their blends i'm curious any favorites? Recommendations?

Just enjoyed a bowl of Dunhill Deluxe Navy Rolls in my Savinelli 320 KS. I really love this tobacco. I find it interesting that a lot of old timers begrudge Dunhill brand after Murrays of London stopped blending for them. I guess for me ignorance is bliss and I am more than happy what the scandanavian tobacco groups interpretation of many these classic blends are at the moment. Elizabethan Mixture and Nightcap as well as before mention Navy deluxe are what I think are exceptionally good quality blends. I am always satisfied with any of those smokes I like 965 too but the others just wow me. YMMV I guess.
