I tried S. Gawith Lakeland Dark yesterday. I really liked that. Burned well and had a great flavor.

Thanked: 227The Orlik filled with Holger Dansk Sherry. Whilst looking out over the Forth.
Went for what should have been a little wander with the wife and kids litter picking and ended up down in the town at the foreshore, so stopped for a smoke.

I bought this 1986 Dunhill group 4 sitter probably around 1988 brand new in a pipe shop in the Paramus mall on route 10 (NJ) The poker was bought from a collector second hand. It was an exact copy of a Dunhill ODA 844 by Danish maker Teddy Knudsen. So each of these slipped out of my gob when I had them clenched in my teeth, and the tenons broke when they hit the tile floor.
They sat in a drawer for at least the past 10 years because I didn't trust anyone to do the repair. Was talking about this to my friend Linwood, who used to run the Richmond pipe show in VA, and he told me about Mike Myers, Walker Pipe Repair. Got 'em back today after just two weeks and he did a great job at a reasonable price. I stressed that I only wanted the tenons replaced and stems polished. No work on the wood. Great Job !!!
