So each of these slipped out of my gob when I had them clenched in my teeth, and the tenons broke when they hit the tile floor.

They sat in a drawer for at least the past 10 years because I didn't trust anyone to do the repair. Was talking about this to my friend Linwood, who used to run the Richmond pipe show in VA, and he told me about Mike Myers, Walker Pipe Repair. Got 'em back today after just two weeks and he did a great job at a reasonable price. I stressed that I only wanted the tenons replaced and stems polished. No work on the wood. Great Job !!!

Nice pipes Jimmy Im glad you salvaged them. Paramus Mall on rt 10? I think you meant Rt 4 or 17. Sad that whatever pipe shop was there is long gone. I'm sure some good deals to be had in those days.

I really like FMOTB. It has a nice musty, smoky earthy flavor to it. I enjoy it.

Last chunk of Seattle Pipe Club's Plum Pudding in my Peterson Killarney XL 90.
What a complex Balkan blend this is. So much going on its delicious and very satisfying. Sorry to see this one go, going to have to get more.

As almost always, I'm stuck on one blend. Right now it is Old Joe Krantz, in a Castello.
