Some C & D Exclusive in a large Castello Sea Rock. Used to be my everyday smoke but have not had a bowl of it since September. Advertised as 50/50 Virginia and Perique, nice and peppery.

Just finished honing four razors, one that was dropped on the tile floor last week while shaving. About to light a bowl of Old Joe Krantz in a Castello Natural Vergin and relax a little. Spent the afternoon at the range with my Wilson 9mm Commander, some new steel silhouette targets and the craggily old work pipe filled with Haunted Bookshop.

Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

I need to do a few more of the Brown No. 4 before making a choice.
    I had the Brown #2 ....many times....love it...nevah had the #4

More Haunted Bookshop in a Castello Castello, ordered six pounds of C & D from smokingpipes.com today to get their 10% off weekend sale. Haunted Bookshop, Old Joe Krantz and Bayou Morning. Should be good for a while with my everyday standards.

I haven't piped yet today. But was wondering.

Does anyone use these? Or similar?

I got them an age ago and only used two. So I am trying best as I can remember to use the others the same way as it worked.

What I have done is put them in a steam steriliser to soak up condensed water, then sealed them in jars with a layer of foil between them and the tobacco.

If I remember from last time I put one in contact with tobaccob and got mold and one with a foil barrier that seemed ok.

Went for some Presbyterian mixture this morning. It emptied up a jar to hold half a tin of nightcap. ☺

Had it with a cup of dried instant coffee. The stuff my wife drinks. I'm at home unwell and couldn't be bothered faffing with the percolator.

It was actually the most relaxing smoke I've had in an age. The wife and kids are all out. I sat in the garden bright and sunny. If a bit breezy.

This Castello kkkk Old Antiquari has been getting quite the workout lately mainly with Old Joe Krantz.

Very surprised at how little has been posted here lately. Was away for a while myself but seems like the posts have dropped to almost nothing.
