A little Froggy Morton across the pond tonight. We're getting hit with a wicked blizzard tonight. Power was out for 3 blocks at least all around work and my neighborhood . 4 hours down due to a power line fire. Lots of wet sloppy snow and windy as heck. We're expecting somewhere like 7-12 inches tonight. Not fun.Name: 001.jpg

My first lap with with Peterson's Irish Flake (in the Ben Wade GOLDEN MATT miracle find). Wow. Nice. Not for an empty stomach, all virginia - reminiscent of the burley-content Stonehaven. Sez on the tin, "Recommended for the experienced pipe smoker." Uh huh.

A little Frog Morton on the Bayou in a little Yellow Bole Pug in a little morning light.

Mixed review. The Frog Morton is sure different from what I have tried. Not bad but I don't know if it is for me. I kept some out for now and jarred about 2/3 of it to try later.

The Yellow Bole is a bust for me. Very wet. I think that the yellow lining holds the water in. Live and learn. I would never have thought of that when I started this experience. It won't get much if any use.

The snow is way south of me today and spacemonkeyjon it looks like you are just on the southern edge. I hope your travels are safe today.

Late friday eve pipe by the warm fireplace. JF Germain's Bets brown from Karl Erik. Ayinger Celebrator from Germany.

Got home just in time before we got hit by the huge snow strom. The weatherman promised 30-40 cm more snow before next morning. That is great, imho. Back here where i live there's no much streetlights so without the snow it's total darkness for most of the time.

I gotta admit,....I love it after the storm when all the white stuff is piled good'n high and the air is so fresh and crisp. That's when it's time for a walk. In the meantime ........Just had a nice breakfast of Polish bacon, potato pirogi and lam pelmeni with Russian style sourcream ,paprika and fresh dill to face the coming winter work night. Finish with some Frog across the pond in the Viking Elsinore .Name: 006.jpg

Not trying it hijack the thread , but I am thinking of getting a pipe and saw the starter kits on this site Gift Sets and Packs - PipesandCigars.com
Which one would be a good way with a decent tobacco? I really don't want to spend a $100 and a corn cob seems like buying off the dollar menu.
    Anyone have some good suggestions?

Oh and Night blade, your food choices look stellar my good man!
