Oh and I gave the stanwell I featured earlier to justalex. His first ever pipe. He was my best man a year ago last july and I never got round to giving him anything to say thanks. So I bought and resurected a pipe for him as I knew he wanted one. He amoked it today apparently and rather liked it.

    Steph,
For more snow one has to go north into Siberia proper, we are just south of it on the Mongolian plateau. Extreme inland climate.

Interestingly i saw this from the site of today's local news. It's an ice cave with a lenght of about 200 meters. Interesting video and few beautiful pics of ice patterns. Sorry there seems to be no english text but you get the point from the pics.

During the last ten years or so such natural places have become popular to arrange weddings instead of the church. So is with this cave, although i bet the fiancee must feel very cold in their wedding skirts there
