couldn't find the pipes I have carved but found my piece of pipestone. For size reference I show my new Hella knife.
I suppose I will have to carve another pipe now.

Thanked: 983Been away for a few days again. Got rained in, but still got work done. Been swapping between the Pete and the Cob and since I only took one sort with me, been puffing on the Philosophy from Steph. By the way Mr NightBlade, that is a fine looking pipe you got yourself there too.
Thanks for the little bit of American history Jon. I like that sort of stuff.

Thanked: 227Not smoked either but I bought these at the last pipe meeting. £5 each. The top in the picture of both is a Stanwell the other an Orlik.
I think they have cleaned up quite well. They were in a bit of a state when i got them. So proud of the end result.

Hey Sailor! And others in cold, icy places! Have you seen one of these? Maybe they're more common than I think, but I thought these are cool. No pun intended! We're still praying for rain here, they say it's the worst drought in 500 years. It's supposed to rain a bit on Thursday, if it does, it will be the first rain since around November. Anyway, I see you're still using that pipe stand/compass! Love the outdoor pics!
