    Butz-Choquine Diam with McClelland 2000 and some good tea. Went and bought rubber stem savers for all my pipes yesterday. Yep ....my teeth are chompy.Name:  001.jpg

    Comoy's are generally very good pipes Nightblade, the old ones better yet!! I'm sure you know that tough. That one up there is a beauty and a very good smoker.

    I know what you mean... I have some of this rubber things but can't get accustomed to them... they are good for the pipes anyway...

    The rubber 'stem savers' are not to bad on flatter stems, but make the rounder ones like those on the Pete systems feel a bit bulky. You do get used to it up to a point though.

    Well.....I got no choice. Pipes are expensive and if I don't take care now, I'm gonna have a lot of pipes with chew holes. Y'all can call me Jaws lol. Off for a cutthroat shave and then work errrgh ! Cheers you guys .

    I put softies on all of my pipes, and I really like them. I'm kinda weird, though.

    I like them too, don't get me wrong. I was just saying that on a Pete system stem they add a bit of extra fat to the mouth feel. They're absolutely useless on the fishtail stem of a Pete Churchy though. Too big and slide down-stem all the time. Great if you like to spear the back of your throat with pipe stems when not taking care and bumping the pipe in you mouth (Yep that was a personal experience right there ).
