Yeah we should,

But currently we have warmest winter for over 100 years. Or so say the statistics.
Since last summer we've had about 7 or 8 heavy storms that blew all the snow away. Without much daylight hrs the world has been black, muddy and wet. Well currently we have about 5 cm and temps about -10 C/14 F so i hope the change is coming. Better late than ever.

I've seen from the news that you boys have pretty much snow and cold going on there in the USA. Would be ok and normal for us, but i guess not for those, specially in your southern states, who are not used to weathers like that.

I'll take the warmer winters, but I do like snow... Just not the fringed temperatures... (-35F)

Finland and the US decided to trade weather this year it looks like.

Rovaniemi is our northernmost city near artic circle. Known to be cold place. I mean REAL cold during winter. I heard that the other day they had some front page news: 'we have it warmer now than in Hawaji'

Why would i? It was in the news so it must be so true.
But honestly i think you just have rare cold front going on there while we're just waiting for it to arrive.

But it really sucks. While we're lucky to have even few daylight hrs in our latitudes, i feel sorry for the folks up north. Next time they see sun is march or something. Without snow the world is really dark place. Luckily they have even some.

Yeah...I have friends and family all up there and they're definitely getting hammered good.

I live in Northern California, we had a week of cold weather...... and that's been it! Warm, but, NO RAIN!! Unless things change in the next couple months, (our rain season), we'll be up a creek. But that won't matter because it will be dry. I just snapped a picture of today's weather, take note of the temps next week.

I live right on the 45th parallel north.

This was my fun today. Spearing for Northern pike.
