I have got to get me one of those lighte's those are just cooler than a skeeter's tweeter! I see them occassionally locally perhaps it's time to ratchet that up on the "neat stuff to shoot disposable income on" list.

MAC B Navy Flake is a hallmark and just a fine smoke. I myself dig the Blueberry Beast.

After a day burning Billy Budd in my 7769 Kaywoodie, I've switched over to Old Joe Krantz in a Whitehall Grand National. Both of these tobaccos are just the cat's pajama's. I'm once again fully stocked with PBR. Friday night has officially begun!

Now this is a real nice Lovat pipe. I've been struggling with myself: If i'm ever to get me one more pipe then it will be either Lovat like this or Canadian. Battle continues....

Another thing i've noticed, not only here on SRP but on some other European or US based pipe sites as well. Freehand pipes seem to be much more popular in US than Europe. I wonder why. I have no freehand and i actually do not know anyone here who had one. Now this is strange. They must be good smokers.
Yesterday i visited in our one and only tobacco shop to get me some more Erinmore. There's lot of pipes but no freehands at all. I asked the old dude behind the desk but he said that most pipe manufacturers sell their freehands in USA as there is no much demand for those at this side of the Atlantic

We have such a lot of good brands here in Europe.

That is so true. However at least Stanwell has freehands, but i've never heard anyone getting them here

I heard that few years ago Stanwell moved it's pipe production to Italy. I'm not sure if they make pipes at all in Denmark any more. That sounds blasphemy. I know that i wouldn't leave my daughter into same room with Berlusconi and Italian cars are not much to mention about

but i do not have anything against Italian pipe makers; they make decent pipes down there. It is just that i've always linked Stanwell to be a crown of Danish pipe making. Ever since i was a kid i remember old dudes smoking their ugly Stanwells and telling that they are the one and only decent pipes

And we have Les Wood-pipes, Jirsa ... and a lot of more pieces of art.
Mostly I get my pipes from Dan Pipe, here the direct link to the Jirsa-pipes:

Jirsa makes real fine pipes with modest prices. I have two. I do not consider them to be 'freehands' but rather just very artistic but yet symmetric beauties. Excellent smokers. The smooth one i have reminds me of the USS Enterprise from the Star Trek

By 'freehands' i ment odd-shaped, non-symmetric pipes not made in a lathe but rather carved by hand.
