A buddy of mine gave me a little jar with some Black and Gold Cavendish that is out of this world ! Said that it was cured out with Rum and he got it from a friend of his that grows his own tobacco in Tennessee, Well I don't know his friend, and I really don't think he's BSing me, but I do know this is some damn fine smoke I'm enjoying in my Old England M78 !

No name on this pipe, just Imported Briar. This one has the screw in stem, and smokes really good. Burning some Black & Gold Cavendish and lovin this lavish smoke.

    Bulgill,

You're making want to break out the Ol' Dr. Grabows in the traditional shapes with some Capt. Black...

well my friends, i recieved my order from smokingpipes yesterday, and i will say that i am now a very big fan of flake's. i ordered some university, irish, and one of etom's norms, patriot. i like them all, the irish, is good, strong as hell but very good, and i do enjoy the patriot and university. I have currently been working a lot, so i will try to post a pic for the pipe of the day when i get some time off. I have a tin of navy flake on order with a local tobacco shop, now i cant wait to try that one.

Hey buddy, I had to start somewhere, just don't no why it took 52 years to figure this one out ! Got these three pipes for 15.50 shipped and as far as the Captain goes, the Royal ain't bad at all, but the Cherry is awful ! That baccy I got from a friend of a friend that says he grows his own in Tennessee, is outstanding ! Really looking forward to smoking all different kinds, just waitin on work to pick up so I can order several tins, I wanna try some flakes too. BTW I do have a Dr. Grabow coming that should be here tomorrow. Burnin some Black n Gold as we speak ! Yes Sir.

I have been skipping the pipe lately, my humi's are overflowing so I had to thin out some of the cigars. Had a couple cigars earlier today so I decided to fill up one of my home made pipes with some Boswell's Northwoods and have a bowl full this evening.
