I just now am trying 12 yo Glenlivet. I find it to be smooth going down. I've always sipped on Jim Beam bourbon when I did drink whiskey but I do declare, this scotch isn't half bad.

I blame an earlier thread on SRP which covered scotches in detail for influencing me. I went to the liquor store yesterday and spotted a sampler with a bottle of 12 y.o. Glenlivet, 2 small glasses and 2 small samplers of the 15 and 18 y.o.

Does this mean I now have to spell whiskey as whisky?
