It is quite good. I just finished the singleplayer campaign on easy yesterday. I'm not really that hardcore so I had some trouble with some bits even in that. But I really enjoyed it and I think I'll play it all the way through again. (This is an extreme rarity for me) but focus on different weapons this time.

The storyline is pretty good, provided you have some knowledge of the W40K universe. If you don't a lot of references and characters don't make as much sense as they would otherwise. But I think this is quite a good thing because this means they didn't water it down too much for the "uninitiated".

I've yet to start on the multiplayer but a friend of mine plays it and he loves it. So I'm sure I'll get a kick out of that as well.

    (begin beg)
So do any if you fellows live near and perhaps frequent Jack In The Box?
If you do and you order a large soda pop and if it happens to have a code for a Gears of War 3 weapon skin, I'll be your friend if you send me the code
    (/end beg)

My wife is currently making fun of me for asking this but I figured you fellows would understand.

heh Turn 'em on in your living room and watch the power meter and you'll find out! lol A lot of older servers, expecially 1U stuff, is crazy loud and drinks power. I went to a lot of trouble finding the parts for the 2P Xeon systems I run at home to make sure I had low power consumption (100w or less for a twin dual core system), quiet rigs. The tricky part was getting enough DDR400 ECC REG memory. Wouldn't mind a bunch more for that matter.

They will draw less then my games PC (850w vs 2 x 550w but i can just run 1 at 550w) but they do make a lot more noise... as blade servers do.

Is that 850 tested or just your PSU rating? (standing arguement with too many gamer kids: Kid-My rigzorz pulls 900W coz the power suply says it on the side!" Me-"Ahhhh, no. That Celeron 450 rig with the S3 video adaptor doesn't pull that no matter what your sticker says.") I know your rig is light years ahead of that of course, that's just an example.
As for noise, yeah those little fans spinning at a bazzillion rpm do crank it.
I had originally intended to cluster these Xeon rigs but that hasn't worked out. My kids must be the only ones in the area who surf the web on dual socket enterprise grade hardware. lol

Its a corsair and they use rated not peak or max, but the draw would be probably arround the 550-650w (DC side) if utilized for standard use and maybe even the whole 850w playing games as that PSU was the minimum to run my two video cards.

But at the 240v side has a max draw of about 750w so I'm guessing the stand buy draw would be 450-500w

Man typing on a tablet can be a pain in the a$$ at times

Well so long as it's not rated in PMPO it won't be too bad
My point being that some folk believe that the rating on the PSU is what it pulls from the wall regardless of load rather than the load it can handle under the right conditions. I also know quite a number of people who measure the power consumption of their rigs at the wall and do full standby/load comparisons.
I even know some real weirdos who shave with ... oh wait ... nevermind.

Well, not rms but rated, but you know what i mean.. Defiantly not PMPO

Im pretty sure that RMS does apply to AC power though just not DC as it doesn't have a wave.
