Is a great book called AK47,estamated over 100 million have been made.
When I was in Nam,we were building A small hospital in what once was rice paddy, dozer dug up an old AK,rusty as hell.
Washed it off, cleared the barrel of mud, loaded it up,worked to perfection.

When wealthy gun collectors die, we (most of us) can drop a jaw and drool: James D. Julia, Inc. -
A little effort will yield some straight razors also........

Thanks for posting the link. If you like guns it was a visual feast. Interesting in the Class III section there was not an FG42 listed.

I have always enjoyed a good estate sale. Some of my nicest guns have come to me that way

I went shooting with my good old Schmidt Rubin K11 rifle the other day.
It took me a couple of tries but I hit this coin at 100 meters (~109 yards) with the standard iron sights. The rifle is wonderful to shoot and it is extremely accurate.

Not really an SMG like the Sterling/Sten/Thompson but a a full sized select fire rifle in the full power 8x57 rifle cartridge equivalent to the 30-06. Was made in limited numbers for the German paratroops, fallschrimjagers, in WWII. Many innovative features.

Swiss rifles are nice. I have a K31 and it is quite accurate. Well done on the coin!

I have a few tools but likes others have stated, we in Canada can't carry...... Usually. I think having trained people carry would help out in a lot of situations but a lot of fellow LEO's carried and still paid the ultimate price. But in most cases they saved other lives. Would I carry..... Yes! Would I use it ..... Yes! Should everyone carry.... No! A very complex situation.... I will give up the fight to carry when there is a police officer on every corner.
