Desperado - awesome film - hence my avatar!

...and yes, I wash going to mention north by northwest as well: "big face, small razor".

I didnt make it through ALL the posts, but I didn't see this one listed.

It's an old spaghetti western. In The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly (I think), Clint Eastwood is hired to save a town from a couple of outlaws recently released from prison. When he first enters town, he's all gruffy and goes to the barber for a bath and a shave. Some local boys are taunting Clint and the barber is really nervous about a showdown in his shop. THe barber is trying to strop a straight on a really loose hanging strop (the thing is sagging like a 60 year-old's t*ts.) Then he tries to shave Clint with a shaking hand, but never really gets the job done. Poor acting from someone that didn't really know what they were doing, but cool to see it.

Also mentioned good scenes were Scent of A Woman, Pan's Labyrinth, and Dances with Wolves.

"Three Hours To Kill" (1954), Dana Andrews & Donna Reed

Dana Andrews is accused of killing Donna Reed's brother. The town tries to hang him - he escapes, and returns a few years later - looking for revenge and to find who did the killing. There is a scene in the barber shop where he accuses the barber of the killing. While argueing he forces the nervous barber to shave him (with a str8, of course).

It's the most complete str8 shave I've ever seen in the movies. He shaved his entire left side and most all of the neck. This was all shown in close up. It looked very real, but I doubt if it really was.

    (The sherriff killed the brother)

One of the best shave scenes I have ever witnessed, and I'm sure that this one will go for each and everyone here.

    In our mirrors this morning!

NOW THAT, was a great shaving scene.

"In Our Mirrors This Morning" ???

This this the title of the movie? and is this correct. I tried to look it up at www.imdb.com (Internet Movie Database) and Netflix, and neither listed this in their database.

I'd love to see this if it's available.

    Thanks,

    Steve

    Steve, you're a champion

I saw that movie - lead character looked a lot older than I remembered him, but still devilishly handsome.

Ah well. I'm a bit that way myself, actually. Careful where the thread ends up - you might become the next international email celebrity!
