yes they are Mick. i have two. one in pattern welded steel and one plain stain resistant steel. Both with buffalo horn scales. Not game to carry them anymore in case any other bikes ride near me..

From recommendations here, I got an Opinel #8. I sanded the handle a bit to make it easier to get my fingers on the blade for opening. I am loving it as an edc. Razor sharp and cheap enough that there will be no heartbreak if it gets lost or broken.

I love my Laguiole! I bought it to use everyday, not to look at. I don't really buy things to look at, I buy them because they are practical.

My EDC is a Karambit by Coldsteel, worn as a neck knife
Usualy along with a very long double edged boot knife
Then brass knuckles for backup (its technicaly a belt buckle, so its legal)
Im not yet old enough to carry a handgun :/ That comes next september
In which case my EDC will be a Glock 27

I like traditional folders, this is a GEC #54 i believe, its an edc and the steel has taken a much nicer color since this pic was taken.
