I winder if he would have liked a well fired roll.

I do love a burnt roll. Something the wife finds odd, but she's from the wrong side of the country.

I originally hail from Glasgows East end.

Must be why we get along......I've never been there or the whole of Scotland for that matter but. I've always had a soft spot for Glasgow folk. Not sure about a burnt roll but a toasty one with butter and a bit of Marmite would make me happy anyway.

Well if ever in Glasgow shout me 😂 I'll take you to the finest places for whisky and introduce you to a roll with square sausage. Something of a Scottish delicacy 😂

Oh and plain bread. Perfectly shaped to contain a slice of square sausage.

Brats are on the griddle right now ........and yes Scots Ale is good stuff. Dahlwhinnie was about the only malt I really could handle...just not a spirits man much any more. Prefer a good Port or Cider these days. My pirate days are over ha ha.
