So I tell Shan I gave in to my addiction today and it was her fault

I mean she sends me a Vid about how to make a Bacon covered Meatloaf Cake which of course is made in the Lodge Combo set (I can't seem to load the vid from FB)

Then she acts surprised when I go buy the set since it was on sale Bahahahaha

So Seasoning right now, can't wait to try the recipe

    Default Chicken & Dumplings

I swear every time I try and beat plain ole Bisquick Dumplings in just doesn't work I just like them better...
Perfect recipe but going back to Bisquick next time

Shan was begging me to make it, so I adjusted the recipe to fit the Lodge 5.5qt Enameled Dutch oven exactly.
We have figured out that is about perfect for the two of us with leftovers

    Solid Comfort food dinner

I think I'll have to get the 4 chicken legs out of the freezer that were left over from my chicken luncheon meat experiment and make chicken and dumplings.

I'm still dying to hear how that bacon covered meatloaf cake turned out Glen. That makes me literally salivate every time I think about it.

I am going to do Fried Chicken in that deep pan first to really get a good seasoning on it before I try it.. I did three rounds of seasonings already in the oven it is looking pretty good
