I always do mine out on the gas grill with the lid down. Does not smoke the house up!

I just got 5 old skillets and took them to a shop to be soda blasted. Four of them have so much carbon cake you can barely read what they are. Three are Wagners, one is a big Griswold, and last one is so full of crud I have no idea what it is. As soon as I get them back from the blaster the chore of re-seasoning begins. To re-season all five with lard I would have to fry up 50 pounds of bacon and a hen house full of chickens so I might use Glen's method to get it done quick.

Funny, I have a couple of old crusties. Use them on the Coleman stove! They just get worse!

I'm so glad you liked it my friend! :

Ever since I purchased mine a couple of years ago/my old flat spatula just sits in the drawer.

Along with the one that I bought and modified for my good friend Glen, I purchased and have modified Three More which will be Birthday Presents for my children.

(I was going to give them for Christmas Presents but decided to give them for Birthday Presents)
