I played a bit today and made some 'mini' brownies in a Lodge baking pan. I've used the pan for cornbread muffins and a couple of other things and have had good success.

Here they are 95% or so done and hopefully the retained heat will be enough to finish the middles without either leaving them 'gummy' or dry.

I'd sprayed the slightly preheated (150 deg) baking pan and once they were cooled quite a bit and they fell right out of the pan.

I made grilled cheese in my #6 skillet this afternoon. I buttered the bread on one sandwich, used bacon grease on the other.

To be scientific I need a larger sample to test!

Honestly, the bread and cheese weren't right for grilled cheese. I was really wanting a grilled cheese after reading about using bacon grease here. The bread I had to use was homemade and half an inch thick. The cheese was shredded cheese. It was falling out when I flipped the sandwich.

Bacon and Eggs sounded good for supper. I also had some homemade bread with butter and some berry mint jam that was a Christmas present from my Russian neighbors. The eggs were sprinkled with some seasoning that I make. It's basically Emmeril's Bayou Blast without any salt and a reduced amount of cayenne pepper.

It's looking like a mini brownie for dessert/maybe with some vanilla ice cream.
