Just finished the Griswold #5 EPU. It's not a rare piece but it is a hard to find one.

I think if you add USA you will break the code.

It's Erie PA USA. Most are not fully marked.

That may be true for some but for some of us Mastodons or Neanderthals it's much easier said than done! The really simple ones seem to use replaceable batteries which don't last all that long so can really add up $$$ and then there's always trying to figure out how to get them to download and such.

I have a Cannon SX500 and I had to have my oldest daughter come over read the directions and then write it in plain English on a Word Paper and save it so I could learn how to operate the Fu--ing thing!

To top it all off the damn thing would suddenly stop working and say to charge the battery. When I'd charge the battery the green light would show in about 5 minutes or less. The battery would have only been in the camera for about a 10-15 minutes but I'd put it on the charger until the Green Light would show and then it would take pictures--for about 1/2 an hour at the most.

I contacted Cannon Support and was told to send the camera, charger and battery to their tech place. One week later I got all back with a note that the camera was fine but the charger and battery were 'Non Serviceable'.

Long story made short. I bought a new charger and then it took a couple of hours to charge the battery and it would work for hours!!

So as I said, Easier Said Than Done For Some!!

    Joel, I'm with you buddy!

I've heard about hoe cakes but never tried to make them. I think they are similar to Johnny Cakes. Let us know how the hoe cakes go.

I made acorn meal last fall and fried up some cakes. I might make some more this weekend, along with some buckwheat pancakes.
