Let's go cholesterol ! But I won't deny I'm rooting for that dish either(Pork and or sausage is my favorite vegetable)......getting older sucks,eat like a pirate as long as you can my friend because as I start to get into my upper years you remind me of me as younger and I'm still pushing it but slowing a bit also. Picked some ramps/leeks and some ferns. The few black Morels were already in a bag when I took this.
Now I just have to figure out how I want to cook them!

While I haven't figured out what's for supper, I've got dessert covered/an Apple Buckle.
I used the recipe given to me that was Benz's mothers for the base but I admit that the quality of the apples available right now sucks around here so I just cheated and doctored up some canned apple pie filling with a touch of Chinese 5 spice, some vanilla and almond extract.
I guess I should go to a Culinary Confessional;

Hard day today with the family, I swear they're trying to kill me, so I offered to make them knuckle sandwiches for dinner...
