    I made another pot roast...but this time used a 5 lb chuck roast ....much bettah ! Then thickened up the pan juices with some cornstarch....was delicious!

    Ya'll remember back when our Moms would open up a can of Chef Boy Are Dee? Mother Benz didn't believe in opening a can. Instead she made it from scratch. I dug out her recipe for homemade ravioli and here they are waiting for the boiling pot.

    It's done and I'm cooling it with cold water in the sink as I like it warmed up. Seems to help blend the flavors better.
    Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdins cave of 'stuff'.

    I don't know why I click on this thread, as the dinners always look so much better than my dinners. I often want to eat at Roy's house.
