Making dinner rolls right now. About 5 minutes til they should be ready to come out of the oven. The house is full of the buttery yeasty smell, along with the chicken stew right there in the oven with the rolls. The Mrs is munching on kale chips. KALE CHIPS, with all that symphony of smell going on, and supper just minutes from the table. I don't get it.

Since we're locked down, I didn't do anything 'Special' for Easter since it was just me and as I read in the original Joy of Cooking, the definition of Eternity was a man and a whole ham. In my case even a 1/2 a ham---------------

I do have a very small boneless ham that I'll use to make grilled ham and cheese sandwiches later. However I did decide to do something Easter Themed--Hard Boiled Marble Eggs--My Way--for some Deviled Eggs to go with the sandwiches/These are them out of the shell.

The boss and I went traditional even though it was only the two of us this year. We had a small turkey, stuffing, mashed spuds and gravy and green string beans. Was delicious with the forecast of hot turkey sandwiches for dinner tomorrow followed by a couple of turkey soup dinners. Does it get any better?

I told the easter bunny to get stuffed, peddle his crappy boiled eggs elsewhere. If he sees 20 kids playing in the yard, he still won't stop HERE again, I bet. We had wasabi crusted bluefin tuna loin pan fried to medium rare over jasmine rice, topped with crawfish remoulade. The wasabi and the horseradish really get a synergy going on, the crust came out great, the rice was perfect as always, and I still haven't hooked up another keg so still drinking store beer.
