My wife likes to do the grocery shopping rather than let me.
I went shopping yesterday and only bought 2 items.
14 lb New York strip loin and 22 lbs of asparagus.
I only spent 98 USD so I didn't think that was a bad deal.
You can guess what I had for supper..............

Ya Mike, this will be our first year ever that we aren’t sure of our big family get together. Last time I missed it was when I was in the military. Me and the wife took over for my dad 25 years ago so it’s something we look forward to with all the kids(no parents left) grandkids and now great grandkids, so we’re going to see how this plays out but it may be small here too, maybe just steaks and my wife’s chicken and cornbread dressing

Bruschetta appetizer, homemade. Linguine with red clam sauce. Green bean almandine.
