Looks good, I find that there are three things that always seem to be better when they are warmed up---

You got that right a Roy, chili ain’t ready till the next day, and stew was always something that stayed on the stove back in the day. And one of my favs before I gave up pasta was spaghetti the next day or two, reheated in a skillet with butter.

No doubt about that, fellas.
I've always made a pot of chili, just for the next day.
I make it, then put a lid on it. It'll sit on the stove, till the next day. Must let it stew in all those nummy flavors, to bring out it's best.
Any left over, gets put in the blender for chili dog sauce, and frozen for later use.Mike

Mike, one of my favorite leftover for chili is that next morning chili omelette, woooo boy! Now being your in Ohio you know how chili is supposed to be made. Too many think chili was a Texas thing, but wrong! It’s an Ohio tradition. Can’t remember the place but when I go thru Cincinnati I make sure to stop

My favorite story about 'Chili' is from the mid 70's on opening day of Deer Season. NOTE: The chili I grew up with had red beans in it. Sorry TX----
My father went with some of his buddies, I went with mine, and my two younger brothers went with their buddies.
It was cold, raining and not the best conditions but all of us had taken off way before the break of dawn.
Given the weather my mother decided that chili would be in order. So she started a huge pot of chili. I guess it was simmering away and mom tasted it so she could adjust the flavors and she thought it need more chili powder. She got the can of chili powder out of the cupboard out and dumped a couple of tablespoons in and then went to place the chili powder back in the cupboard.
It was then that she saw that the can said----Cayenne Pepper-----she rushed to the stove and used a spoon to remove the cayenne---but it was too late.
While it was pretty good, that is the spiciest chili I've ever eaten in my entire life. Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdin’s cave of 'stuff'.
