Had a Ribeye last night with a salad. Sliced the leftover thin and made a sammy.
Sauteed Jalapeno slices and onions topped with cheese and the iceberg.
No maters, but sloshed with salsa. Ranch on the bread sides.
    Mighty fine!

Followed with a warmed-up apple tart thing I found in the freezer. Sweet!

It's not that the wife is a great cook. I just hate going out to eat alone......

Well let me give you a little background on 'Tuna'.

When I was a small boy I didn't like mom's tuna fish sandwiches and I HATED her grilled tuna sandwiches (which she made with 'Miracle Whip'--

Years later when I first married I found a product called 'Mayonnaise'--what a difference.

When my wife suggested that I have a 'Tuna Pie' I was not open to the idea, the memories of mom's grilled cheese came to mind. Anyway, I gave it a go and now I love it.

When my kids come over I'll fix one, but every now and then I'm all alone so a full pie isn't feasible. So I now make it in a 6" pie pan.

I do hope that all will enjoy.

    Interesting...!

Mayo and miracle whip have their rightful places. Agreed. My buddy who's a chef uses mayo in a few fish dishes...and all are awesome.

As far as a condiment goes, I have taken to ranch dressing over both. Just me...

There was a pizza joint up here and they gladly gave out ranch dressing to dip your pizza in. I found it very good but very rich.

Talk about tuna and ranch, I don't care for tuna dishes nor the sandwitches, but on a hot day for a light lunch a co-worker turned me onto a can of tuna in water, smash the lid to drain water and mix in some black pepper and ranch dressing.
Gotta have those big Fritos to dip it with. Really good out on the boat! Num-num!!

    Personally I'm a ketchup fan.

I think ketchup goes with anything, even more ketchup!

My wife used go mad when I put it on my Christmas dinner lol.
