I remember those after a night at the bar. Problem was staying awake to eat it, or to keep from burning down the house.

Many years ago I used to hang out with a guy named 'Denny'.

One night he had gone honky tonkiny and was a bit under the influence of the alcohol. He decided to make an omelet and he'd gotten it done and eaten. Then he went to sleep.

When he woke up he found that the pan was still on and that it was filled with this black stuff. He tossed the pan and forgot the entire thing--until he was cleaning his kitchen. His broom drug something out of the stove.

He found a plastic handle----the black stuff was the spatula----
Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdins cave of 'stuff'.

It’s not a dinner but breakfast.

I buy the ingredients separately on the local baazar. A plate with my favourite apples – Coxes (Cox’s Orangen Reinette). It’s rare variety, but still available, because trees are capricious. So not everyone wants to grow it. But it's delicious.

    Some prunes are a must.

A little bit of cashews, walnuts, raisins, mulberries and almonds.

Oatmeal made with goat milk with a pinch of linseed.

Cinnamon – not for decoration only.

    Honey of course.

Just a little bit of pollen.

    ...

And now I’m ready to shave.

    HAR! Been there, done that!
Was only 3 beers in, so chowed and cleaned-up with no issues!

I had to check his location. Thought for sure he was from California.

If the oatmeal wasn't wet, u could put it in a bag as trail mix.

Thanks folks for a kind word. I add linseed and pollen to enrich the dish with micro- and macro-elements. I read many medical articles about pollen. A lot of ingredients were found there but when tried to reproduce artificially in one pill - without success. If someone doesn't like them pure - won't feel any difference in taste with such a small portion.
