Thanked: 21MMMM today was homemade pizza. Handtossed crust by me of course just make sure its light as possible on the flour or the wife gets mad it can make a mess flying around. Homemade sauce, layer of fresh basil, some spinach, mushrooms, olives, sun dried tomatoes, lotsa mozzarella, and some fresh grated parmesan mmmmmmmm. No pics I just ran across this thread now after dinner.

Last night I made a broccoli and cheese soup that rivals most restaurant versions. Sides was just a little bread and butter. Will have to take pictures next time.
My favorite thing to make though is deserts. Always eat desert first then you never have to worry about being too full to enjoy it. Have a Mocha Icebox cake in my fridge currently.

Steak and Kidney Pie
Ladies and Gentlemen,
I just completed a proper Steak and Kidney pie from an old English cookbook I have. This is outstandingly good eating and I highly recommend trying it. Delicious!
My friends from the UK out there - what are your thoughts on it and any recipes (like your Mum's) to share?
