That was fresh ground tellicherry that is pretty flavorful and I wanted to taste the meat and the rest of the spices!

Well, with this cold front and sticking with the theme of soups, my wife made some delicious potato soup. It was her first time and she nailed it!

A nicer version of roast beef with peas and carrots. Tenderloin cooked sous vide with Madeira sauce, potatoes cooked in duck fat and garlic, snow peas and tourne of carrots. And a bottle of Cheval Blanc to wash it down.

Wow, Jaime, that looks just like the recipe in Wednesday's Cheap Thrills Cuisine. I made it too (used half again as much bacon
