    Well, with this cold front and sticking with the theme of soups, my wife made some delicious potato soup. It was her first time and she nailed it!

    A nicer version of roast beef with peas and carrots. Tenderloin cooked sous vide with Madeira sauce, potatoes cooked in duck fat and garlic, snow peas and tourne of carrots. And a bottle of Cheval Blanc to wash it down.

    Wow, Jaime, that looks just like the recipe in Wednesday's Cheap Thrills Cuisine. I made it too (used half again as much bacon ) and agree, it is a killer recipe! Here's the recipe link:
