    It's been a while since I joined in.

    Mmmmmm Ribeye steak. Baked potato, onions shrooms and garlic and a lovely blue cheese sauce.

    Tried my hand at making fresh ricotta Gnocchi with homemade vodka cream sauce last night, it turned out ok, not sure I'll try again though...Name:  ImageUploadedByTapatalk1391211108.123252.jpg

    gnocchi... yummy, vodka sauces -- meh, I like mine straight and I have not found that it adds to a dish.... a nice pesto would be great with your gnocchi.


    were you gnocchi heavy and rubbery? trying to envision reasons not to make again....

    They weren't heavy, actually they were quite light, but the consistency was still slightly off, and they turned out a little bland. The main reason I might not try again is because it was very labor intensive for the end result. I'll probably try making traditional pasta next.

    I have made pasta before.....you'll probably like that a little better. Gnocchi are a bit more work.

    Just some leftover mashed potatoes. Fried a bit to get some color and heated in oven. At least that is what wifey told me.
    And the rest was just some roast beef w/ blue cheese sauce. Fried carrots.

    I was thinking about Krappkakor. I like those reheated/fried. I was pretty close!
