My grandson and I cooked dinner again last night. Eggs in the hole or whatever you choose to call them and bacon. He had fun cooking with me but refused to eat any. He wanted pretzels.
Tonight at archery leagues we had pulled Moose burgers and chips. I would have rather had the meat plain. To me the barbecue sauce covers the true taste of the meat. Should only be used on bad/poor quality meat. I have had sausage from that same Moose that was very good.

Thanked: 1160Wow......okay,I can totally see how pretzels would override bacon n eggs.....yup........huh ? Next,....totally with you on the BBQ sauce. That's a fifty fifty call but somehow lighter on the sauce seems to make sense here. Now however if you pit cooked that Moose with maybe a rub of sorts that would not overpower say, sage maybe and or rosemary some Olive oil.....eh you know. Just sayin's all.

If you bring your backhoe to dig the hole, half a bale of rosemary and about 10 gallons of olive oil. I would supply the beer. Maybe we could talk Junior into cooking up the rest of his Moose. Maybe "Colorado Rosemary" and Coors beer would work.
