Really good flavor, a tiny bit lighter then my normal Carbonara recipe, the wife and I both were thinking about how much better it will be this late summer when we can use fresh stuff out of the garden...

Wait, carbonara has almost no fresh stuff in it - cured pork fat doesn't grow in the garden
You must be cheating and putting something healthy in there...

Beef Stew and crunchy bread. Yum!
A simple and delicious hearty meal, with this cold weather.

Beef stew is the best winter time food,I like to flour the beef chunks, fry till brown in bacon grease and lots of pepper.
    Carrots,spuds,celery,top with dumplings.
Slow cook all day in a cast iron dutch oven, nice green salad, and fresh backed bread, the food of the gods
Forgot.also a large can of stewed tomatoes and the juice, make it all in the same pot.
