    Love clams,had Cherrystones last night,purged in salt water and cornmeal for a few hrs.
    Steamed than smothered with a butter, garlic (lots) and parsley sauce,some bread, some salad,to die for.

    Cool Spaghetti alle Vongole

    Made and served with a Pinot Gigio

    They were out of the Cherry Stones so we used Savoy Clams

    Not a bad recipe...

    This isn't full blown supper but I've been a snow shovelin fiend at work the past few days and now that it's my Friday, I am too beat to cook...so here's my impromptu eaties for tonight....A Tapas of dates,roasted garlic,sweet peppers,Sicilian olives, Wisconsin cheddar,Red grapes a little Apfel Liqueur and a nice pipe for later.....I love to eat like this......
