I have had that. It isn't easy to find out here. Herring of any sort and style high on my list of foods that comfort.

We had been away from home several days so my wife took beef stew from the freezer and heated it in the crick pot. I made blue corn bread to go with it. The browning on the bottom and sides is caused by the batter being poured into hot cast iron greased with bacon grease.
