Oh man .....Every movie I have ever seen with a bunch of rag tags hoppin and drinkin round a large carcass O some beast has just entered my mind. Wouldn't that just be something huh ? And y'know now that I'm entertaining my mind here .....you'ed only need one gallon of oil for the initial rub down, then just keep spraying the beast with beer as it slowly cooks on "a spit mebbe?".As for the rosemary if you got any type O natural food store near by where you could pick up rosemary in large amount that would be helpful. I'm just sayin is all.

This one was tasty ! A bed of mashed Yukon gold potato topped with Cajun spice fried baby Bella mushrooms and sliced up hickory bacon (only two strips) and sided by a golden beet that I finished off in the bacon fat for browning. So good ! Name: 015.jpg

Today I am making a hen frikasse.
A pretty simple but very tasty traditional dish up here..
Takes about 3 hours, but basically makes it self.
Served with boiled almond potatoes and some fresh parsley on top

Would you be willing to post the recipe in 'The Recipe Box'? I need something new to excite my old taste buds.

Sunday feast: Sous vide-cooked, tea smoked duck breast, served with buck wheat, carrots, leek and persimmon braised in lime butter, with a 96 hour onion sauce. In the glass: Dorothy Goodbody's Christmas Cracker Ale.

Steak for tonights dinner. It was mine and my wife's anniversary. We got some USDA Prime prime rib. Best cut of steak in my opinion. We must have gotten some extra special cut because I have had USDA prime before but this one was absolutely perfectly amazing. I could eat this literally everyday.
