Simple stew tonight, but one of my favorites- Boeuf Bourguignon. The wine I used was a lovely bottle of Bordeaux (so not TECHNICALLY bourguignon?). Delicious meal and the leftover wine was equally delicious

It was a gift from a friend, and as we all know if a recipe calls for wine, the quality effects the food, so I got to enjoy it twice

Well, I have never taken any of the meat pies but here is another favorite...Haitian chicken and plantains. Lots of fresh parsley, tomato, lime juice, garlic...and habanero!

Looks great...I'm sure the meat pies won't mind you taking pics of them.

Salmon that has been cured in a mix of salt, sugar, cognac, oregano, rosemary and basil for about 48 hrs.
Most Norwegian families have their own recipe for Gravlaks.
Mine is one that I got when I was living in Seattle, but it is originally from the area of Norway where I'm living now.

I served it with rice, mustard-sauce and white wine.

That depends on how you make it. Mine is not too strong. A lot like sushi but different. PM on its way.
