    Hobbits feast..............Pre Snack of Gouda cheese and and some hard apple cider..and then....Miniature version of herbed roast chicken with 40 garlic cloves. In this case it was roast chicken thighs w/ scarborough fair (P,S,R,T) and approx. ten to 12 cloves of garlic along with some lovely roasted gold beets and all topped with pan gravy. I'm havin a moment here.....Name:  003.jpg

    The Hobbits Meal at the Inn If I were at an Olde Inn, this is what Id'e order. Familair yet always tasty...Beer Brats from Ye Whole Foods, Peach rasberry jam, Fried Scarborough Mushrooms. Some very tasty Strawberry Ale. For a palate cleaner assorted Biscuits(Pistachio Shortbread, a Peanut Cream,and a Honey Walnut roll with Mexican coffee (Ceylon Cinnamon and Mexican Vanilla). And for the Finale , Grand Marnier Peach Rasberry Cognac with a Pipe full of Fragrant Virginia Flake. Bring on the Nazgul !! ....Name:  001.jpg

    A new to me food (grain) Farro, wife got it at trader Joes,Is some sort of wheat.Cook it like rice,put it in soup or salads.
    Is fantastic both in flavor and texture.Cannot get enough of it
