    With snowflakes in the air, an outdoor BBQ wasn't tempting.
    So I used the kitchen stove.

    Crawdads,love them.Throw three traps off a dock into the sacto river every week,can of cheap dawg food with some small holes punched in.
    Got 80 of the bugs last week.Ate half cooked in crab boil,shelled half for catfish bait.

    @Paco, that looks like some kind of feed, brother. Knowing Cajuns as I do, I'm sure the beer was plentiful and plenty cold and there was likely some good music too.

    Ground chicken livers with velveeta cheese microwave and stir in some dried out cattails to thicken it....

    Rumaki rules dude,yes catfish bait,wife and I can only eat about 40 dads at a time,now small catfish,12/14 inchers,caugt on Crawdad tails are to die for,gut um,skin um, leave the tails on,roll in tempura batter,fry in bacon grease,is nothing finer

    One mans bait is another mans feast I guess.......I love crawfish,cajun stryle or nordic style and I love chicken livers either fried or used for dirty rice. I'll stick with the velveeta or breadballs for the bait.In Michigian I grew up on smelt fries and yet people only think they're bait as well. Go figure.......

    When I did boils,I used to love throwin pieces of sausage in there as well,either good Andoullie from a little ma n pa company(Bellue's down in Baton Rouge) or good Portuguese Linguica if all else failed.

    , Have to ask. What is Nordic style? Also we throw in just about anything, cans of spam mushrooms turkey necks, wings, legs, artichoke, asparagus,Hell, anything that goes in the boil is good.
