Thanked: 884LOL No fries for me. As for the beer? I got "the duty rootie" this week so I have to be disgustingly alcohol free until Friday, just in case I have to go solve some problem that the boys in blue can't ( or won't) handle.
Here's what it started out as. Kroger had an unadvertised sale on bone in NY strips. They were close to an inch thick. Marinated them in KIKKO-MAN soy sauce for an hour or so and sprinkled some garlic powder on em, tthen I built a hot fire and started cooking. After I got the fire built, I figured out it was only 103°F on the back porch and probably could have cooked 'em without the fire.
After a bit, they looked like this,
This is what it looked like when I started chowing down. The Missus waited for me like one little pig waits for another and was laughing her butt off at me taking pictures of food.
Garden salad, baked tater with butter and home made ranch dressing. In case you're wondering what's in that glass, that is my version of iced tea. NO sugar and if you can see through it, IT'S WEAK!
