I've been using the Gene cafe since they came out years ago. I'm on my second machine. They are good enough to get a professional result. No real negatives I can think of. The chaff chamber has a tendency to come apart but it's a separate part of the machine not directly connected to the main unit.

Brother, that is the saddest story I have heard today! My buddy in town has one and he likes it a lot. I have had his blends and he does fabulous stuff with them. The only complaint I have is the exhausting for an indoor unit forces you to be a bit creative. But the unit itself seems pretty great. I have only played with it twice or so and the pre set functions are great fun.

Now *that* is a good way to spend a Saturday morning!
    Geezer and Dieseld like this.

It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

This is the best scene I've pictured in my mind for some time.

Took my cup on the side porch and watched red stags go by on the back hill (hill hear mountain other places).

Very nice day for a cup of coffee indeed, I have 5lbs of Brazilian coffee I need to roast. Evidently it was a good year for coffee from South America. I but it in 40 lbs bulk when I order.

I do a Haus roast at about 50 kilo a month and we do a cycle of five origin roasts at about another 25 kilo each every 10ish weeks. Reslly gonna get interesting we are launching a fully personalized roast service. Soon guests can order coffee service and personal roasts done per order fresh ascend totally customizable. French press in room should be a game changing package for us.
