Thanked: 1184I have made mention of saving water and the whole save resources thing always enters my mind. Those 2 things were part of my decision to use a straight.
And come on dad, shame him into saving the planet. I am not speaking of your son now but I am getting tired of this ,well it's all so inconvenient to do the right thing. And that relates to many things. Look at this country in general. Okay don't do that. But you know what I mean :<0)Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.

Yup, once again, got sent out to the grocery store to get some things, so after getting robbed yesterday for $26.72 for four cartridges, thought I'd see if they had any DE blades.
It was mentioned that they don't carry them!
So, this Loblaws is strange, there's a shaving brush, styptic pencils, believe it or not, several pucks of Williams for like $1.75, every imaginable cartridge razor you can think of, and not one pack of DE blades.
Population really is getting supremely ripped off....Last edited by Phrank; 11-07-2013 at 12:52 AM.

Thanked: 3226Phrank
If you are really desperate to get hosed try Shoppers. I'm sure they will oblige if yours are anything like ours when it comes to DE blade prices. OTH the Dollar Store or Giant Tiger may carry no name Israeli made blades for cheap.

Thanked: 480Phrank, that Gillette "thin" might be a vintage blade. I wouldn't count on getting a good shave from it. I would keep it more as a collectable. not sure. Picture?

Thanked: 1263If you want to try the Wilkinson blades, Shoppers has the 10 pack for $15.99 and you can usually get Gillettes at Safeway for around the same or less.
